Senior Backend Developer (.NET Core & SQL Server)

Job Description:

Xeven Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at the Jobar Town Office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in .NET Core API development, Angular (v7+), microservices architecture, and experience in event-driven systems using tools like Kafka or RabbitMQ.

You will be working on scalable enterprise-grade applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. We’re looking for someone passionate about clean code, modern development practices, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain .NET Core Web APIs and Angular (7+) applications.

Implement asynchronous microservices and build event-driven systems (Kafka preferred, RabbitMQ acceptable).

Utilize EF Core ORM for database operations across PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.

Apply database versioning and manage schema changes using Liquibase (experience is a plus).

Ensure quality and performance of applications through SonarQube analysis and unit testing.

Collaborate using Git/Bitbucket for version control and code reviews.

(Optional/Preferred) Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins configurations, and Kubernetes deployments.

Requirements:

4+ years of experience in enterprise software development.

Proficient in Angular 7+ and .NET Core API development.

Experience with microservices using an asynchronous approach.

Strong understanding of event-driven architectures (Kafka highly preferred).

Hands-on experience with Entity Framework Core and relational databases (Oracle/PostgreSQL/SQL Server).

Experience managing schema changes during deployment; Liquibase experience is an advantage.

Familiar with SonarQube for static code analysis.

Experience with Git/Bitbucket for source control.

(Nice to have) Knowledge of CI/CD, Jenkins, Kubernetes clusters.
