The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Backend / Platform Engineer who thrives on designing reliable, scalable, and observable systems. You’ll focus on building and optimizing the infrastructure, services, and pipelines that keep our platform performing flawlessly at scale.

You’ll collaborate with DevOps, Front-End, and Data teams to evolve our core architecture and development environment. Ideal candidates are excited by AI-driven engineering, using tools and techniques that enhance developer velocity, system insight, and operational automation.

You’ll be joining a highly experienced engineering team, with all members having at least 14 years of experience delivering software in a wide range of backgrounds, from startups to global SaaS and adtech platforms. You’ll work alongside seasoned peers who value collaboration, mentorship, and innovation as we enter the next chapter of Tiger Pistol’s growth.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and optimize cloud-native backend services using C# and .NET Core.
• Develop and maintain platform components that support multi-tenant, high-volume workloads.
• Collaborate with DevOps to improve CI/CD pipelines, observability, and infrastructure automation.
• Integrate AI-assisted development and monitoring tools to improve system reliability and delivery speed.
• Drive adoption of AI in infrastructure—experimenting with automated testing, performance tuning, and error diagnostics using AI tooling.
• Participate in architectural planning and technical decision-making.
• Mentor engineers and advocate for operational excellence.

• Databases: PostgreSQL, Redis, Clickhouse
• Monitoring: Application Insights, Cronitor, Log Analytics
• Bonus: AI/ML monitoring, log intelligence, or LLM-based automation

About You

• 8+ years of experience in backend or platform engineering for SaaS or distributed systems.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
• Deep understanding of API design, data modeling, and performance optimization.
• Experience in Domain Driven Design platforms.
• Interest in AI-driven tooling, from code generation to automated observability.
• Strong communicator and collaborator who values quality and learning.
