Senior Barista / Head Barista

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve specialty coffee, espresso-based beverages, teas, and signature drinks in accordance with brand standards
• Deliver an exceptional guest experience through professionalism, attentiveness, and in-depth product knowledge
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, brewing equipment, and POS systems with precision and efficiency
• Uphold consistency in beverage quality, taste, and presentation across every service
• Engage guests confidently, offering informed and personalised recommendations
• Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming café environment, including the bar station, seating areas, and equipment
• Monitor stock levels and support inventory management and timely replenishment
• Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards without exception
• Contribute to seamless opening and closing procedures
• Collaborate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth, cohesive operations

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Barista in a specialty or premium café setting is preferred
• Solid knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, including latte art
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first mindset
• Professional presentation and a consistently positive attitude
• Ability to perform with composure and quality under pressure
• Availability across flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
• Basic cash handling and POS system experience is an advantage
• A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Specialty coffee certification or formal barista training
• Background in luxury hospitality or premium café environments
• Familiarity with alternative brewing methods
• Multilingual communication abilities
