Key Responsibilities

Architect and lead development of enterprise data platforms, data lakes, and distributed systems.

Build large-scale Big Data pipelines using Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Hive, HBase, Airflow, NiFi.

Design robust batch and real-time ETL/ELT pipelines.

Lead cloud-native data solutions in AWS/Azure/GCP (Glue, EMR, Redshift, ADF, Synapse, BigQuery, Dataflow).

Drive performance tuning, optimization, and cost-efficient data architecture.

Implement data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.

Collaborate with data scientists, cloud teams, and application teams on enterprise data initiatives.

Lead and mentor data engineering teams across global projects.

Required Skills

10–20 years of experience in Big Data Engineering / Data Architecture.

Strong expertise in Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Hive, HBase, NoSQL.

Hands-on experience with Python, Java, Scala, SQL.

Strong cloud experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Deep understanding of distributed systems, data governance, security, and CI/CD automation.

Proven leadership in enterprise-scale data modernization programs.

Preferred Certifications

AWS/Azure/GCP Data Engineer or Architect Certifications.

Databricks (Spark/Delta Lake) Certification.

TOGAF or architecture frameworks (preferred).
