Senior Bilingual Immigration Attorney

Brown Law, PLLC is a boutique immigration law firm that specializes in exceptionally high quality legal representation to immigrant clients before USCIS, the Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeals.

Associate Attorney Position. Brown Law is growing and seeking to add a bilingual (must speak Spanish and English) associate attorney to our team to represent the firm’s existing clients. The associate would meet with the firm's clients to prepare court filings and declarations for their immigration cases; write and prepare trial briefs; attend court hearings and litigate trials in Immigration Court; as well as file appeals and conduct negotiations with Immigration officials and prosecutors.

Licensing Requirements. We will consider attorneys barred in any U.S. jurisdiction. Our ideal candidate would be barred in Virginia or Maryland (or eligible to waive into either state).

Compensation and Benefits.

· $100,000 to $135,000 annual base salary.

· Quarterly Bonus of $2500-$3750 per quarter ($10,000-$15,000 annually) on top of base salary.

· Paid Sick Leave.

· 15 Days Annual Vacation.

· 401(k) retirement savings plan with full brokerage account and a 6% employer match with no employee contribution required after 1 year.

· Profit Sharing after 1 year: Brown Law issues profit sharing to employees once per year with amount based on profitability of the firm

· Pension Plan after 1 year: Brown Law contributes to a pension plan. Employees are guaranteed 5% returns and receive monthly pension benefits for life starting at retirement.

· up to $500 annual reimbursement towards CLEs and bar expenses.

· The firm is a “lifestyle firm” that values work-life balance for attorneys. Associates are not expected to work more than 40 hours per week and we do not ever work on weekends or holidays. All federal holidays are paid time off and, as a lifestyle firm, we have created additional paid holidays like Christmas Eve and the day after Thanksgiving.
