Senior BIM Engineer

Position Overview

The Senior BIM Modeler is responsible for producing and managing detailed 3D models and 2D documentation for architectural, structural disciplines. The role involves advanced modeling, coordination support, and quality assurance, ensuring that BIM deliverables meet the required standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed BIM models to specified LOD (e.g., LOD 300–400).
• Produce accurate 2D drawings and shop drawings from 3D models.
• Ensure models reflect design intent, materiality, and construction logic.
• Work closely with BIM Coordinators, Engineers, and Architects to ensure model integration across disciplines.
• Participate in clash detection processes and resolve modeling conflicts.
• Update models based on design changes, RFI responses, and coordination feedback.
• Follow project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEP), standards, and naming conventions.
• Conduct self-checks and peer reviews to ensure model accuracy and compliance.
• Provide guidance and technical support to junior modelers.
• Share best practices and help standardize modeling workflows.
• Assist in training sessions or onboarding of new team members.
• Utilize Revit and other BIM tools efficiently
• Coordinate file exports, imports, and linked model management.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil (as applicable).
• 5+ years of experience in BIM modeling, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and related BIM tools.
• Familiarity with BIM standards.
• Experience with large-scale or complex projects is preferred.
