Senior BIM Modeler

• Experienced Revit BIM modeler to lead projects from initial model development to construction documents and detailing.
• Participate in a project coordinator role and supervision of junior BIM modeling team members.
• Develop detailed design drawings using Revit and AutoCAD software
• Coordinate with and consult with other team members to design, layout, or detail components
• Draw and detail plans, buildings based on preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets and other data
• Modification of drawings with necessary changes.
• Escalating & documenting (RFI’s, emails) constructability issues during and after modelling.

• Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. or Advanced engineering
• 10+ years of recent, progressive Drafting experience and shop drawings,
• Minimum 5 years of BIM Modelling experience using Revit
• Knowledge of other BIM software (Revit, Navisworks& AutoCAD).
• Good experience in Revit family creation.
• Autodesk certified Professional is preferred (ACP).
• Must be able to exercise independent judgment using technical knowledge
• Strong attention to detail with emphasis on organization
• Ability to work under deadline pressure
• Excellent communication skills with team members within office and external client communication
• Understanding of various International BIM standards (BIM ISO 19650)
• Good understanding of BIM LOD’s (Level of Development)
• Should have worked on International Projects.
• Should be aware of BIM Best & Worst practices.
• Good troubleshooting abilities.
• Proven track record in leading junior modelers
• Technical knowledge and experience of international and local design codes/standards and Statutory Regulations.
• Excellent planning, time management and communication skills.; listening, comprehension, and feedback.
Proficient in spoken and written English and Arabic.
