Senior Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly specialized and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team, focusing on the dynamic Open Banking / Open Finance landscape. This instrumental role will drive the definition, analysis, and delivery of business and technical requirements essential for regulatory-driven Open Finance initiatives across the UAE (Nebras, Trust Framework, API Hub) and Bahrain (CBB Open Banking framework).

You will be the bridge between regulators, technology, and external partners , ensuring the timely, quality delivery of user stories aligned with both regulatory expectations and superior customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Regulatory Translation: Engage with stakeholders (regulators, banks, FinTechs) to translate complex Open Finance regulatory guidelines (UAE CBUAE 2024, Bahrain CBB directives) into detailed, testable user stories and technical requirements.
• Agile Leadership: Collaborate closely with the Proxy Product Owner to refine and prioritize the product backlog. Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and write exceptional user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows, adhering to Agile best practices (Scrum/Kanban).
• Process Mapping: Document comprehensive as-is and to-be business processes for critical Open Finance use cases, including Account Aggregation, Payment Initiation, Embedded Lending, and Consent/Data-Sharing flows.
• Compliance & Alignment: Work with compliance/legal teams to embed regulatory requirements into functional design (e.g., consent handling, digital certificates, dispute resolution) and validate delivered functionality against Central Bank mandates.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 7+ years in Business Analysis, with a minimum of 3 years dedicated to Open Banking / Open Finance within GCC markets (UAE or Bahrain strongly preferred).
• Domain Expertise: Strong, demonstrable understanding of Open Finance platforms and regulatory sandboxes in UAE (Nebras, API Hub, Trust Framework) and Bahrain (CBB Open Banking) .
• Technical Acumen: Familiarity with APIs, JSON, developer portals, and regulatory sandbox environments.
• Tools & Methodology: Hands-on experience with Agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban) and tooling (e.g., Azure DevOps, Confluence, Miro, Figma ).
• Digital Identity: Exposure to digital identity frameworks (e-KYC, UAE Pass , or equivalent GCC initiatives).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related field. Agile/BA certifications ( CBAP, CSPO, PSM, SAFe BA ) are a plus.
