We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst at UL Standards & Engagement. This is a hybrid opportunity based in our Evanston, IL or Raleigh-Durham, NC office.
The Senior Business Analyst will support technology enabled services and initiatives to advance the mission of UL Standards & Engagement (ULSE) to make the world safer, more secure, and sustainable. The Senior Business Analyst will leverage advanced application and technical knowledge of software and system functions to inform technology solutions implementation, process improvement and user experience optimization. The Senior Business Analyst will drive rigorous technical requirement discovery, identify substandard or inefficient system processes, and ensure systems are designed, tested, and maintained to support usability and operational excellence.

What you’ll learn and achieve:
As the Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in the rapid growth of UL as you:
Lead comprehensive technical requirement gathering across functional areas, to support safety standards processes, regulatory needs and organizational objectives. Ensure requirements are complete, traceable and aligned with priorities.
Manage end-to-end projects, plan and execute activities across the project lifecycle and ensure timely and high-quality deliverables. Support ongoing project governance through clear documentation, risk management, and status reporting.
