Job Title: Senior Business Analyst
Location: US Remote
Job Description:
Our company is seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in business analysis, with a deep understanding of various insurance products, including commercial and admitted lines. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in defining business requirements and recommending solutions to support the strategic direction of our organization.
Responsibilities:
1. Interact with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and team members to understand and document business needs and requirements.
2. Lead JAD (Joint Application Development) sessions to identify and resolve business issues.
3. Utilize strong knowledge of ISO standards to ensure adherence and compliance.
4. Act as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and support teams.
5. Analyze and synthesize information provided by a large number of people who interact with the business, such as customers, staff, IT professionals, and executives.
6. Conduct and facilitate Agile methodologies within the project teams.
7. Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of the business operations and processes.
8. Assist in the development and implementation of business solutions that improve the effectiveness and performance of the organization.
9. Provide leadership and mentoring to less experienced team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 10-15 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
2. Proven experience in the insurance industry, specifically commercial and admitted lines.
3. Extensive experience with business and technical requirements analysis, elicitation, modeling, verification, and methodology development.
4. Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.
5. Ability to create systematic and consistent requirements specifications in both technical and user-friendly language.
6. Able to apply statistical and predictive modeling concepts and principles.
7. Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
8. Advanced technical skills.
9. Excellent documentation skills.
10. Experience in Agile methodologies.
11. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
