Senior Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join a pivotal and rapidly expanding team. This isn’t your typical analyst role, you’ll be helping to build out the Scientist.com Business Intelligence function. You will play a foundational role in harnessing new and advanced AI and analytics tools to drive our strategy and create a competitive advantage. You will be the crucial link transforming complex data into a strategic asset, delivering powerful insights that shape decisions for both our internal leaders and key external partners.

Core Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate with clients, business stakeholders, and internal teams to gather, analyze, and document comprehensive requirements.
  • BI Solution Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-impact dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support client and internal business needs.
  • Strategic Data Analysis: Identify critical trends, opportunities, and actionable insights from complex datasets across our entire platform.
  • Data Integrity Management: Partner closely with our Data Science team to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity throughout the pipeline.
  • Executive Reporting: Deliver high-level ad-hoc analysis and reporting as requested by leadership or external clients.
  • Process Optimization: Support the implementation and continuous improvement of business intelligence tools and analytical processes.

Requirements

  • Academic: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Life Sciences, or related field.
  • Professional: 3-5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably within a technology-driven, data-centric organization.
  • Business Intelligence Expertise: Strong background in designing and delivering reporting frameworks, and advanced data visualization
  • Analytical Translation: Proven ability to deconstruct complex business questions into technical requirements and actionable insights.
  • Technical Data Proficiency: inexpert level SQL skills for querying large scale datasets and leveraging cloud-based data warehouses.
  • Stakeholder Management & Communication: Expert executive-level communication, presentation, and organization skills. A proven ability to organize and resolve competing priorities and stakeholder needs. Fluent in spoken and written English.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
