Duties

• Lead comprehensive business analysis efforts by gathering requirements, defining project scope, and identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) to support strategic objectives.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker to visualize data insights effectively for diverse audiences.
• Collaborate within Agile teams to plan, execute, and deliver projects aligned with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
• Design and optimize databases utilizing Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and database design principles to ensure robust data architecture supporting analytics needs.
• Perform advanced data analysis using SQL, R, Python, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), Talend, and ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources including Linked Data environments.
• Conduct detailed analysis of large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvements or cost savings.
• Support project management activities by tracking progress, managing risks, documenting workflows with Visio, and facilitating communication among stakeholders.
• Stay current with industry best practices in analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance analytical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst with a strong focus on analytics-driven decision-making in a complex environment.
• Expertise in business analysis methodologies combined with practical knowledge of Agile frameworks and SDLC processes.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools including Tableau, Power BI, and Looker; experience creating compelling dashboards is essential.
• Strong technical skills in SQL (Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle), R, Python, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), Talend ETL tools; familiarity with database design principles is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience working with large datasets in Linked Data environments; excellent data analysis skills are required.
• Knowledge of project management practices for planning and executing initiatives effectively across teams.
• Familiarity with analysis tools such as Visio for workflow documentation; understanding of database architecture enhances your ability to support technical teams.

Pay: $93,078.46 - $112,094.49 per year
