Purpose of Position
Provides support by analyzing business processes and developing solutions or making recommendations.
Essential Functions
Interface with business and information technology professionals to create, design and develop new solutions cost effective solutions that drive customer value, performance assurance, scalability.
Collaborate with UT System and UT institution professionals to and develop and implement based initiatives.
Under general supervision, formulate and define systems scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.
Responsible for the documentation of policies and procedures to ensure the operational quality of all aspects of the database for education and communication with UT System staff, UT institution staff, and consultants.
Provide post implementation support and participate in post-implementation reviews of application development content and process to maximize and share learning.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to varied audiences
Strong understanding of business operations and functional practices
Proficiency with office and analytical tools
Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality work on deadlines
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field and 6 years of related experience; or
Master's degree in a related field and 4 years of related experience; or
Doctoral/JD and 4 years of related experience
An equivalent combination of education, and/or experience, training or certifications may substitute for the degree requirement.
40 hours of recognized training = 3 semester credit hours
2 years of supervisory experience = 1 year of college coursework
Substitutions may be applied up to the level of the required degree
Preferred Qualifications
Strong communication skills and an understanding of functional business practices.
Experience as an accountant, financial analysis, or functional business role.
Experience working within a UT institution.
Experience designing and delivering training programs, including use of large language models, video training modules, and dissemination strategies.

Additional Information
The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to a minimum of 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length. Participation in TRS is mandatory.
