Brief Job Description

As a Senior Business Analyst - CIBG Digital Channels & Advanced Analytics, you will support the delivery of strategic digital and analytics initiatives across Corporate & Institutional Banking. The role focuses on digital channel analytics, data driven insights, and business process enablement, working closely with the Proxy Product Owner, digital product teams, and technology delivery units.

You will translate business needs into clear analytical and functional requirements, enabling enhanced digital channel performance, customer journey insights, and data led decision making. Experience in corporate banking digital platforms, analytics driven transformation, and stakeholder collaboration across business and technology teams is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Proxy Product Owner in defining, refining, and managing requirements for digital channel analytics and reporting initiatives.
  • Gather and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for analytics driven digital transformation programs.
  • Translate business questions into data and analytics requirements, ensuring alignment with channel performance and customer engagement objectives.
  • Perform process analysis, workflow mapping, and gap assessments across digital banking channels used by corporate banking clients.
  • Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and technology teams to ensure accurate data sourcing, transformation, and reporting.
  • Enable development of dashboards, performance metrics, and analytical models to track channel adoption, transaction behavior, and customer journeys.
  • Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, and requirement clarification in collaboration with product and delivery teams.
  • Support UAT planning and execution, including defining test scenarios, validating analytical outputs, and coordinating business sign offs.
  • Provide structured updates through status reporting, RAID logs, and stakeholder communication across business and delivery teams.
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise data governance, regulatory compliance, and information security standards.
Required Qualifications - CIBG & Digital Analytics
  • 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within banking or financial services.
  • Proven experience in Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIBG) / Corporate Banking environments.
  • Strong exposure to digital banking channels, channel analytics, and customer journey analytics.
  • Hands on experience supporting product owners or proxy product owners in agile delivery environments.
  • Experience translating business needs into data, analytics, and reporting requirements.
  • Familiarity with data visualization and analytics platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
  • Experience working with Agile delivery tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across business stakeholders, data teams, product teams, and technology delivery units.
Preferred Expertise - Corporate Banking Digital Transformation
  • Exposure to corporate banking digital platforms and client channels supporting trade finance, payments, cash management, and liquidity services.
  • Experience supporting analytics initiatives related to channel adoption, transaction insights, and digital client behavior.
  • Understanding of API integrations, enterprise data platforms, and digital ecosystem architectures.
  • Experience working on data driven transformation programs within UAE/GCC banking environments.
Core Skills & Certifications
  • Strong analytical thinking, business process analysis, and requirement documentation skills.
  • Ability to translate complex data insights into clear business requirements and actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across business and technology teams.
  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as CBAP, PMI PBA, Agile BA, or SAFe BA/PO are advantageous.
