Role: Senior Business Analyst - General Insurance
Exp: Years 10-15 years.
Key Requirement for the Position:
- Extensive knowledge and experience in Business Analysis and requirement gathering.
- End-to-end knowledge and experience in General Insurance (at least in 2 amongst Underwriting, Claims, Reinsurance, Finance), especially in Fire, Engineering, Liability, Accident, Marine lines of Business.
- A very good understanding of processes prevailing in insurance companies for end-to end insurance software product.
- Requirement Gathering & Traceability experience.
- Functional (Business) Requirements Document (FRD) preparation Experience, Acceptance criterion document (ACD)
- Good inter-personal communication skills in English.
- User Flow/ Process Flow Charts, Diagrams & Tools knowledge
- Perform detailed analysis of existing processes and to ensure that all aspects of the business requirements are understood & mapped. Map and formalize business requirements.
- Prioritize requirements and negotiate with users to keep the user expectations manageable and within the scope of work.
- Exposure to underwriting and claims process of General Insurance
- Exposure to basics of reinsurance process
- Added advantage: Implementation of project from start to end (Requirement gathering, Configuration, Testing, User Training, User Acceptance Testing, Project Go – Live)
