Senior Business System Analyst

People

• 8–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a technical environment.
• Able to work hand in hand with the U.S. Product Owner and drive delivery with the technical team in India.
• Expected to be hands-on and act as a backup for the U.S. Product Owner when required.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both business and technical teams.
• Strong ownership mindset, proactive in identifying risks, dependencies, and ensuring project continuity across geographies

Process

• Proven experience in requirement gathering, documentation, and user story creation.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications.
• Demonstrated experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using tools like JIRA and Excel.
• Skilled in UAT coordination, gap analysis, impact assessments, and driving process improvements throughout SDLC.

Technology

• Should have a strong data mindset — able to understand the application beyond functionality and from a user perspective.
• Should be able to understand data structures and underlying logic to efficiently define and test solutions.
• Solid understanding of APIs, integrations, and data flows; familiarity with databases and basic programming concepts.
