Description:
Spatial Front Inc. (SFI) is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst – ServiceNow to join our team supporting a dynamic, science-driven federal client. In this role, you’ll act as a trusted advisor, consultant, and implementation partner, bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions to deliver impactful digital transformation through ServiceNow.
Work Environment: Flexible/remote, with occasional on-site support as needed.

Partner with clients to understand business goals, challenges, and requirements.

Facilitate workshops and requirements-gathering sessions, translating needs into actionable documentation.

Lead Agile implementation activities across the full life cycle: design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

Educate and advise customers on ServiceNow best practices (SPM, SecOps, Agile/Test).

Perform gap analyses between current and desired processes, assessing legacy systems and ServiceNow OOB functionality.

Write user stories with acceptance criteria and functional tests aligned with Agile methodologies.

Document workflows, requirements, and processes in repositories.

Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood, built, tested, and delivered successfully.

Provide mentorship to other analysts and serve as a relationship-builder with clients.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree (required).

7+ years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in an Agile environment.

Experience advising, consulting, and managing client expectations.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency with professional consultant-level slide decks.

Proven ability to collaborate effectively, actively listen, and drive stakeholder engagement.

Hands-on experience with Scrum methodology to manage workflows and requirements.

Experience working directly with development teams, end users, and mentoring other analysts.

Experience in ServiceNow implementations (SPM, SecOps, Agile, Test), particularly in federal environments.

Familiarity with repositories to archive, create lists, and document libraries.

Demonstrated skills in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.

ServiceNow System Administrator and ITSM Implementation certification (preferred).

Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management abilities.

Understanding of ITIL processes, operations, and procedures.

Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.

Clearance: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance. Background checks will include Criminal History, Education Verification, Employment Verification, Professional Certifications, and Credit History. (Public Trust investigations typically take 4–8 weeks and require fingerprinting.)

Salary Range: $85,000 - $130,000 Annually
