Senior Business Developer – Hypermarket Sector

We are a fast-growing distribution company in Saudi Arabia, managing exclusive brands in the healthy and functional food category. Our focus is on expanding aggressively within key retail channels, especially hypermarkets and modern trade.

Position Overview

We are looking for a high-caliber Business Developer with strong experience in the Hypermarket & Modern Trade sector in Saudi Arabia .

This role is not operational — it is pure growth, expansion, and deal-making .

If you don’t have strong connections and proven results in hypermarkets, this role is not for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute growth strategy within hypermarkets (Carrefour, Panda, Danube, Othaim, etc.)
  • Open new accounts and secure listing agreements
  • Negotiate commercial terms, margins, and promotions
  • Build strong relationships with category managers and buyers
  • Drive sales expansion and market penetration
  • Identify new opportunities for product placement and expansion
  • Work closely with internal teams (sales, marketing, supply chain)
Requirements
  • Minimum 5+ years experience in FMCG – Hypermarket / Modern Trade (KSA)
  • Proven track record in:
  • Listings
  • Negotiations
  • Business expansion
  • Strong network with key decision makers in hypermarkets
  • Deep understanding of:
  • Listing fees
  • Promotions
  • Shelf space dynamics
  • Highly results-driven mindset
  • Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)
