Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Business Development Executive / Academic Counsellor with a strong sales orientation and learner-first mindset. The role involves engaging with prospective learners, understanding their career goals, and converting inquiries into successful enrollments through structured counselling and follow-ups.

This is an ideal role for professionals who enjoy consultative selling, relationship building, and working in a fast-paced EdTech environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with prospective learners to understand their career aspirations and recommend suitable programs
  • Manage the complete admissions lifecycle—from initial inquiry to final enrollment
  • Achieve individual enrollment and revenue targets through consistent outreach and follow-ups
  • Communicate with learners via calls, emails, and messages to provide accurate and timely information
  • Address learner queries related to curriculum, learning outcomes, career paths, and placement support
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and placement teams to align learner acquisition strategies
  • Maintain accurate records of learner interactions in CRM systems
  • Provide regular feedback to improve counselling processes and conversion efficiency

Eligibility & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • 6 months to 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or academic counselling
  • Freshers with strong communication and persuasion skills may also be considered
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency in Kannada (spoken and written) is mandatory
  • Ability to understand learner needs and convert them into enrollments
  • Target-driven mindset with consistent performance orientation

Compensation & Benefits

  • CTC: ₹4,00,000 – ₹7,00,000 per annum
