The Role

We are looking for a Senior Opportunity Manager to identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities with schools and districts in the U.S. market. The role involves building long-term client relationships, understanding customer needs, and driving revenue growth by presenting the right Lumos Learning solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth client experience from the first interaction to closure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through market research and outreach.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers in schools and districts.
  • Work closely with internal teams (Sales, Customer Success, Marketing) to create tailored proposals.
  • Understand client requirements and recommend suitable Lumos Learning products.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets by managing the full sales funnel.
  • Track and analyze opportunity metrics to improve conversion rates and pipeline efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of all prospect interactions in CRM tools.
  • Provide feedback from the field to help refine offerings and strategy.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development, preferably in EdTech, SaaS, or K–12 education.
  • Proven track record in meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working with CRM systems.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams..

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in the EdTech industry
  • Deep understanding of the U.S. K-12 education market, including current trends, challenges, and purchasing decision-making processes.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage successful content marketing programs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
