The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for leading the all branch sales operations, including telecounselors, field marketing executives, and business development officers. The BDM will drive sales performance, ensure achievement of monthly targets, guide the counselling process, and maintain high standards of customer service and team productivity.

Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead and supervise telecounselors, marketing executives, and BDEs.
  • Allocate daily/weekly tasks and ensure smooth functioning of branch sales activities.
  • Conduct performance evaluation and provide continuous coaching and feedback.
  • Maintain discipline, attendance, and productivity within the team.

2. Sales Target Achievement

  • Ensure the branch meets monthly and quarterly registration targets.
  • Create strategies to increase lead inflow, improve conversions, and expand market reach.
  • Monitor daily performance, follow-ups, and enquiry management.
  • Drive the team to achieve individual and branch-level KPIs.

3. Counselling & Customer Handling

  • Counsel walk-in customers and ensure accurate course information is provided.
  • Handle escalations and ensure smooth resolution of customer concerns.
  • Maintain high standards of service quality and customer satisfaction.

4. Marketing & Lead Generation

  • Guide and support marketing executives in field activities, branding, and campaigns.
  • Identify opportunities for local tie-ups, events, school/college visits, and promotional activities.
  • Ensure marketing strategies are aligned with monthly goals.

5. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Conduct weekly review meetings with the sales team.
  • Track performance reports, lead conversion ratios, and pipeline status.
  • Submit branch performance reports to senior management on time.

6. Branch Operations Coordination

  • Coordinate with admin, accounts, academic teams to ensure smooth branch functioning.
  • Ensure branch compliance with company policies and processes.
  • Manage customer documentation, fee collection monitoring, and operational completion.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred)
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales, preferably in education/training sector
  • Proven experience in leading a sales team and achieving targets
  • Job Location - Trivandrum
  • Monday to Saturday

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
