Role Overview
We are looking for a result-oriented Senior Business Development Manager with strong industry exposure in the Study Abroad / Overseas Education / Academic Counselling domain.
This is a leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, strengthening sales systems, and leading a high-performance team. The ideal candidate must have a sharp sales mindset, strong domain knowledge, and proven experience in handling and scaling a sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive overall sales performance and achieve monthly & quarterly revenue targets
- Lead, mentor, and monitor a team of counsellors / sales executives
- Improve conversion ratios from inquiry to enrollment
- Develop and execute structured sales strategies and growth plans
- Monitor daily sales activities, follow-ups, and CRM discipline
- Conduct performance reviews and implement performance improvement plans where required
- Coordinate with marketing and operations teams for campaign alignment
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and expansion channels
- Maintain ethical sales practices and uphold brand reputation
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 1 year of proven experience in Study Abroad Industry or Academic Counselling
- Prior experience in handling and leading a sales team is mandatory
- Strong understanding of overseas education processes and student conversion funnels
- Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Strong presentation, communication and leadership skills
- Fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati
