Senior CAD Engineer

Next Engineering Consultants is seeking a highly experienced Senior CAD Engineer / Shop Drawing Specialist to join the team at the Dubai Main Office. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in preparing, coordinating, and reviewing detailed shop drawings for large-scale projects within the UAE. The candidate should possess solid technical knowledge, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to deliver accurate drawings within tight deadlines and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare detailed and accurate shop drawings in accordance with project specifications and standards.
· Review and coordinate shop drawings with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
· Ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations and project requirements.
· Revise drawings based on consultant/client comments and site requirements.
· Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to resolve technical issues.
· Maintain drawing quality, consistency, and timely submission schedules.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
· 6+ years of relevant experience in shop drawings within engineering consultancy firms in the UAE.
· Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software.
· Thorough knowledge of UAE regulations, standards, and authority requirements.
· Excellent technical detailing skills and coordination abilities.
· Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
