Senior Calendar Clerk

We’re seeking a Senior Calendar Clerk for our client, a respected law firm in Wantagh, NY. This is a full-time, on-site role for someone experienced in managing legal calendars and coordinating a high volume of daily events such as EUOs, arbitrations, and depositions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the firm’s calendar department, ensuring accurate scheduling and balanced workloads.

• Coordinate a high volume of EUOs (Examinations Under Oath), along with arbitrations and depositions.

• Review daily calendar activity, assign time slots, and confirm with vendors and attorneys.

• Track and record all dates and deadlines in MyCase and Microsoft Office tools.

• Review and improve existing calendaring workflows for better organization and efficiency.

• Communicate proactively with attorneys and staff to ensure smooth scheduling and timely updates.

• Provide guidance and support to other clerks in the department.

• 
  Proven experience as a Calendar Clerk, Senior Legal Assistant, or Scheduling Coordinator in a law firm.

• Strong understanding of court scheduling systems and handling high-volume case calendars.

• Proficiency in MyCase, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Knowledge of ECF, NYC, AAA, and ELO systems required; PACER a plus.

• Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail.

• Professional and reliable attitude — able to work independently without drama or defensiveness.
