The Role
Join a prestigious US international law firm as a Senior Capital Markets Lawyer based in Riyadh, where you will play a key role in advising on complex capital markets transactions and supporting the firm's growing presence in the Middle East region. Responsibilities: - Lead and manage capital markets transactions including equity offerings, debt issuances, and derivatives. - Advise clients on regulatory compliance with Saudi Arabian, US, and international securities laws. - Draft and negotiate offering documents, prospectuses, and related legal agreements. - Provide strategic legal advice on market entry, product structuring, and capital raising initiatives. - Collaborate with cross-border teams to deliver seamless client service across multiple jurisdictions. - Keep abreast of changes in capital markets regulations and market trends impacting clients. - Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to the development of the capital markets practice in the Riyadh office.
Requirements
- Licensed lawyer with extensive experience in capital markets law, ideally including exposure to both US and Middle Eastern markets. - Strong understanding of Saudi Arabian capital markets regulations and international securities laws. - Proven ability to handle complex transactions and provide practical legal solutions. - Excellent negotiation, drafting, and advisory skills with a keen attention to detail. - Outstanding communication skills and ability to build strong client relationships. - Self-motivated, confident, and able to work effectively in a team-oriented, multicultural environment. - Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is a strong advantage. - Willingness to relocate and work in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
