Job Summary

The Senior Carpenter / Joinery Specialist will be responsible for executing high-quality carpentry and joinery works on site, including custom furniture, special ceilings, and wood finishes. The role requires coordination with other site teams and accurate execution according to design drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform all carpentry and joinery works, including:
- Wood veneer installation
- Custom joinery and furniture fabrication
- Special-shaped and feature ceiling fabrication
- Read and interpret construction drawings accurately and ensure the design intent is fully realized on site
- Conduct site setting-out, layout marking, measurement, and material take-off
- Prepare daily work reports, identify issues proactively, and provide feedback to site management
- Coordinate with other site teams (masonry, painting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC) to track progress and ensure smooth workflow
- Ensure quality, safety, and compliance with company standards and UAE regulations
- Assist in construction planning, manpower allocation, and on-site execution under the guidance of the site supervisor

Skills & Requirements

Essential Skills
- Advanced carpentry and joinery skills, including custom furniture, veneer work, and ceiling fabrication
- Ability to interpret complex drawings and specifications accurately
- Proficient in site measurement, layout marking, and material estimation
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prepare daily reports and communicate progress effectively
- Good physical stamina for high-intensity construction work
- Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and adherence to company rules

Preferred Skills
- Experience in high-end residential, commercial, or luxury interior projects
- Familiarity with modern woodworking tools and machinery
- Ability to train and guide junior carpenters on site
- Knowledge of UAE construction safety standards and labor regulations

Requirements
- Age: 30–45 years old
- Physically fit and able to handle demanding construction work
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience as a senior carpenter or joinery specialist
- Ability to coordinate effectively with other site trades without direct supervision
