Senior Chiller Technician

Key Duties / Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and adjustments of chiller components.
• Monitor operating parameters: pressures, temperatures, flow rates, and electrical readings.
• Execute scheduled maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Diagnose mechanical faults in compressors, pumps, motors, valves, and other chiller components.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and control system faults in chillers.
• Handle refrigerants safely: leak detection, recovery, charging, and system top-ups.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot chiller controllers and BMS interfaces.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or certification in Mechanical or HVAC Technology.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in chiller maintenance and repair.
• Experience with air-cooled, water-cooled, screw, and centrifugal chillers.
• Knowledge of compressors, pumps, valves, electrical systems, refrigerants, and chiller controls.
• EPA or F-Gas certification preferred.
