Job Title: Senior Civil Site Designer/Degreed Engineer

The Senior Civil Site Designer/Degreed Engineer shall work closely with the firms Civil Site Professional Engineer helping with the design and development of detailed civil site construction plans for various land development (commercial/residential/municipal projects). The Civil Site Designer/Degreed Engineer shall assist the firms Civil Site Professional Engineer with taking a project from the initial stage through the final construction design stage of the project.

Responsibilities:

- The Senior Civil Site Designer/Degreed Engineer shall assist the firms Civil Site Professional Engineer with handling all storm-water design and storm-water-modeling responsibilities necessary to obtain all necessary state Water Management District and local municipality civil site development permits.

- The Senior Civil Site Designer/Degreed Engineer shall be proficient with utilizing Auto CAD as well as Civil 3D as well as being proficient with performing stormwater calculations and modeling.

- Preparing permit-ready plans for land development projects and working collaboratively to produce design solutions that meet client specifications and regulatory standards.

-Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality and timely outcomes.

-Collaborating with a team of engineers and planners.

-Thorough understanding of inter-discipline requirements.

-Problem-solving attitude and ability to work in a team.

- Conduct site visits and field observations to collect essential data and ensure design accuracy.

- Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and project budgets.

-Prepare project documentation, reports and technical drawings for client and regulatory review.

POSITION REQUIRMENTS:

- 10 Years minimum of Civil Site Plan Design and Plan Preparation experience.

- Proficiency with utilizing Auto CAD and Civil 3D software is required.

- Proficiency with performing stormwater calculations & stormwater modeling.

- Proficient with preparing and completing regulatory permitting agency applications for making submissions to SWFWMD, FDOT, County and City permit review agencies, FDEP, etc.

- Advance MS Office skills: Word and excel is required.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills is required.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements.

- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.

- Capable of obtaining his or hers State of Florida Professional Engineer license within 8 months of beginning employment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $72,400.00 - $76,560.00 per year
