Job Summary:

The Senior Civil Engineer will oversee the planning, design, and execution of swimming pool and landscape construction works, including structural pool works, waterproofing, MEP coordination, hardscape, softscape, and irrigation. The role requires strong technical expertise, site supervision capability, and coordination with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:Swimming Pool Engineering

• Supervise construction of reinforced concrete pools, water features, and water bodies
• Review structural drawings, hydraulic layouts, MEP coordination, waterproofing details, and finishing works
• Ensure correct installation of pool equipment (pumps, filtration, dosing systems, heaters, lights, etc.)
• Verify water-proofing, tiling, screed, backfilling, and testing procedures as per standards
• Coordinate pool commissioning, pressure tests, and handover documentation

Landscape Engineering

• Manage hardscape & softscape works: pavements, kerbs, walkways, planting, soil works, turfing
• Oversee irrigation network installation (mainline, laterals, pumps, valves, controllers)
• Ensure site grading, drainage, and civil works are executed as per approved design
• Coordinate with landscape architects, irrigation designers, and authority standards

General Project Responsibilities

• Prepare BOQ, quantity take-off, material procurement schedules, and subcontractor scopes
• Monitor project progress, manpower allocation, and weekly/monthly reporting
• Ensure adherence to project specifications, authority regulations, and QHSE standards
• Attend site & technical meetings with clients/consultants and resolve site issues
• Manage snagging, de-snagging, and final handover including As-Built drawings

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of RCC pool construction, waterproofing, pool MEP, and finishing works
• Expertise in landscape construction including irrigation, hardscape, softscape, and site civil works
• Ability to read and coordinate structural, MEP, hydraulic, and architectural drawings
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project scheduling software (Primavera/MS Project preferred)
• Strong communication, leadership, and site management skills
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure and deadlines

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred)
• Minimum 2-3 years experience in swimming pool + landscape works (UAE/GCC preferred)
• Previous experience in villas, resorts, parks, public realm, or high-end luxury projects
• UAE driving license

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
