Senior Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Civil Engineer to join our consultancy team in Oman. The ideal candidate shall have strong technical expertise, extensive field experience, and proven capability in managing projects from initiation through final handover to the operator.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise civil engineering projects from concept, design coordination, construction, testing & commissioning, up to final handover.
• Review and coordinate civil, structural, infrastructure, landscape, and hardscape works.
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, authorities, and multidisciplinary consultants.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance to project teams.
• Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, method statements, RFIs, and material approvals.
• Ensure implementation of health, safety, and quality standards on projects.
• Prepare technical reports, progress reports, and project documentation.
• Support project planning, execution, and contract administration activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of overall experience in civil engineering projects.
• Gulf experience is mandatory; Oman experience will be an added advantage.
• Strong experience in handling projects from initiation until final handover to the operator/end user.
• Sound knowledge and strong field/site experience in construction supervision and project execution.
• Previous experience working with engineering consultancy firms is preferred.

• Residential Developments
• Commercial Buildings
• Infrastructure Projects
• Landscape & Hardscape Works
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, quality control, and project coordination.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Strong technical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Familiarity with local authority requirements and approval procedures.
• Experience in multidisciplinary project coordination.
• Proficiency in engineering software and MS Office applications.

Pay: From RO1,000.000 per month
