Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to oversee and verify civil works for a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant during construction and pre-commissioning. The role ensures compliance with drawings, specifications, ITPs, method statements, and applicable standards, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and timely delivery. You will work closely with the EPC/Contractor, Owner’s Engineer, and HSE teams to ensure all civil and structural works meet project requirements.
Responsibilities

Manage and oversee all civil engineering activities on site related to Open/Close Cycle Gas Turbine (OCGT/CCGT) projects and Substation Projects.

Ensure compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, Owner and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.

Supervise site preparation, foundation construction, structural works, and infrastructure development.

Conduct regular inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety standards.

Address technical queries and provide solutions to any civil engineering challenges encountered during construction.

Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize project outcomes and mitigate risks.

Prepare regular progress reports and documentation for project milestones.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.

4-8 years of experience in civil engineering roles with a focus on Open Cycle Gas Turbine (OCGT) projects.

Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and materials.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety standards applicable to Open/Close Cycle Gas Turbine (OCGT/CCGT) projects and Substation projects.

Familiarity with environmental regulations and sustainability practices in Open/Close Cycle Gas Turbine (OCGT/CCGT) projects and Substation projects.
