Clinical Research Coordinator – Duties
- Coordinate and oversee clinical research studies from initiation through completion
- Develop and maintain study protocols and standard operating procedures
- Recruit, screen, and enroll potential study participants
- Obtain informed consent and ensure adherence to ethical and regulatory guidelines
- Collect, manage, and maintain accurate study data in compliance with data management standards
- Monitor and document participant progress throughout the study
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, investigators, and sponsors to ensure efficient study operations
- Assist with regulatory submissions and maintain compliance with HIPAA requirements
- Conduct literature reviews and stay current with clinical research practices and developments
- Support the preparation of research reports, presentations, and publications
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., nursing, life sciences)
- Prior experience in clinical research or a related healthcare field preferred
- Knowledge of statistical software and data analysis tools
- Familiarity with clinical development processes and regulatory requirements
- Experience in patient monitoring and clinical assessments
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards
- Proficiency in clinical laboratory procedures, including sample collection and storage
