Senior CMS Developer

We are looking for an experienced Senior CMS Developer to lead the development, customization and optimization of CMS-based websites and web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise, architectural understanding and the ability to mentor junior developers while delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain CMS-based websites using platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, or other relevant CMS platforms
• Develop custom themes, plugins, and modules from scratch
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external systems
• Optimize websites for performance, security, and scalability
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
• Conduct code reviews and ensure best coding practices
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA, and project managers
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
• Maintain proper documentation and version control

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on CMS development experience
• Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3
• Experience with MySQL and database optimization
• Custom plugin/module development experience
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and third-party integrations
• Knowledge of website security and performance optimization
• Experience with Git and deployment processes
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
