Key Responsibilities

The Senior Commercial Analyst partners closely with Sales, Procurement, Operations, and Finance to deliver data-driven insights that optimize pricing, margin, and customer performance. Operating in a fast-paced environment, this role requires strong financial acumen, commodity market awareness, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable commercial strategy.

• Analyze data from various sources (CRM, ERP, Finance, etc.) and provide recommendations to improve overall financial performance of the organization.
• Prepare reports and dashboards for management and the senior leadership team.
• Support ad-hoc analysis related to pricing, margins, and customer behavior, including price-volume-mix and variance analysis, historical demand and forecasting accuracy, and profitability modeling.
• Help improve data quality, structure, and reporting processes over time.
• Document data definitions and reporting logic as needed.
• Provide decision support across departments, primarily focused on sales and procurement.
• Manage price listings, updating pricing tools and auditing documentation.
• Prepare and confirm the accuracy of pricing processes, incentive and rebate calculations, and other complex data matters.

Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in an analytical or data-focused role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Experience with SQL or database querying.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• ERP system experience (SAP, NetSuite, Produce Pro or similar preferred).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Frequently sitting, standing and walking.
• Occasionally required to climb, bend, kneel or lift to 25 lbs.
• Potential exposure to outside elements and inclement weather conditions.
• 24/7 Operations, flexible work schedule may include nights and weekends as needed.
