Position Overview

Summit Electric & Data is seeking a Senior Commercial A/V Project Manager to lead large-scale, multi-site deployments for enterprise clients across the United States. This role is responsible for managing complex commercial A/V and low voltage projects, including national rollout initiatives across dense location portfolios.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing nationwide deployments, coordinating subcontractors across multiple markets, and using modern technology platforms to track project performance, scheduling, logistics, and reporting.

This is a high-ownership role requiring strong operational leadership, technical understanding of low voltage systems, and a high level of technological proficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of large-scale commercial A/V and low voltage deployments
• Manage national rollout projects spanning dozens to hundreds of locations
• Develop project schedules, installation sequencing, and resource allocation
• Coordinate subcontractors, technicians, and vendors across multiple regions
• Manage procurement, material logistics, and site readiness across large portfolios
• Track and manage project performance through modern project management and reporting tools
• Maintain clear communication with enterprise clients, providing structured updates and reporting
• Ensure installation quality, documentation, and adherence to project specifications
• Identify risks early and proactively resolve scheduling, site, or logistics issues
• Manage multiple concurrent rollout programs simultaneously

• National rollout of access control reader replacements across 160+ locations
• Multi-location commercial display and monitor installations
• Enterprise-wide A/V system deployments and upgrades
• Nationwide low voltage infrastructure and network installations

Required Experience

• 7–10+ years of experience managing commercial A/V, technology, or low voltage projects
• Proven experience managing multi-site or nationwide deployment projects
• Strong knowledge of commercial A/V systems, access control, structured cabling, and network infrastructure
• Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractor networks across multiple regions
• Experience managing projects involving 50–200+ locations

Technology & Tools

Candidates must be highly technology savvy and comfortable using modern tools to manage large deployments, including:

• Project management platforms (Smartsheet, Monday.com, Asana, ClickUp, or similar)
• Cloud collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, etc.)
• Construction documentation tools (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar)
• Scheduling and rollout tracking systems
• Ability to create and manage structured reporting dashboards

We’re looking for a highly organized, technology-forward project manager who can lead complex national rollouts with minimal oversight, manage multiple moving parts across hundreds of locations, and maintain high standards of execution for enterprise clients.

Pay: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour
