Senior Commercial QS Engineer

Hassan Allam Construction is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Engineer QS to manage commercial activities on civil construction projects. The role requires a strong background in quantity surveying, contract administration for large-scale civil works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation of detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and quantity take-offs for civil works.
• Manage tender analysis, subcontractor negotiations, and contract awards.
• Review and certify subcontractor payments and variations.
• Prepare and evaluate claims, variations, and final accounts.
• Coordinate with project managers, planning, procurement, and site teams to ensure commercial efficiency.
• Ensure proper contract administration in accordance with project terms and conditions.
• Maintain accurate commercial records and provide regular management reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• 5+years of experience in construction, with strong exposure to civil projects.
• Solid knowledge of civil specifications, contracts, and construction methodologies.
• Strong experience in contract management, and claims handling.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple project requirements.
