Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Commissioning & Handover Manager who will lead all activities related to commissioning, testing, and operational readiness of the stadium. This includes ensuring all systems, facilities, and operational processes meet design, safety, and performance requirements. The role ensures a smooth transition from construction to operations, delivering a fully functional stadium ready for events.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Commissioning & Handover Plan for the stadium.
• Define commissioning procedures, testing protocols, and acceptance criteria for all stadium systems.
• Oversee pre-commissioning, commissioning, and integrated systems testing for MEP, fire & life safety, ELV/ICT systems, turf, pitch, and spectator facilities.
• Lead Integrated Systems Testing (IST) and functional performance validation for stadium operations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and obtain necessary approvals/certifications.
• Oversee preparation of as-built drawings, O&M manuals, asset registers, and warranties for handover.
• Manage structured and traceable handover procedures for stadium management teams.
• Ensure stadium operational readiness, including training for operations and maintenance teams.
• Supervise snagging, punch-list closure, and defects management.
• Identify and mitigate commissioning-related risks impacting schedule or operations.
• Provide regular reports to senior project leadership on commissioning progress and system performance.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 20 years of professional experience with at least 10 years in senior commissioning & Handover roles.
• Proven experience in stadium or large-scale sports facilities projects.
• Deep knowledge of international commissioning standards, integrated systems, and operational readiness.
• Strong leadership, multidisciplinary coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Regional experience (KSA or GCC) preferred.
