Duties

• Lead the creation of press releases, speeches, and other key messaging materials ensuring clarity, accuracy, and adherence to AP style guidelines.
• Cultivate strong media relationships by proactively engaging with journalists, editors, and industry influencers to secure coverage and manage media inquiries.
• Oversee social media management by curating content, monitoring engagement metrics, and implementing campaigns that amplify our message across platforms.
• Coordinate public speaking engagements for senior leadership, preparing talking points and presentation materials that effectively communicate key initiatives.
• Conduct research on industry trends, audience insights, and competitive landscape to inform strategic communication planning.
• Review and proofread all outgoing content to maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and professionalism across channels.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in public relations, corporate communications or journalism with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns.
• Exceptional writing skills with a keen eye for detail; proficient in AP style for consistency and professionalism.
• Demonstrated ability to manage media relations effectively and secure positive coverage.
• Strong public speaking skills with experience preparing executives for media appearances or speaking engagements.
• Knowledge of social media management tools and strategies to engage diverse audiences effectively.
• Excellent research skills to gather insights that inform communication strategies.
• Ability to edit content meticulously while maintaining clarity and tone appropriate for various audiences. Pay: $47,289.55 - $111,036.88 per year
