Senior Construction Manager

A leading Tier 1 main contractor has recently secured a multi-billion-dollar mixed-use development in Riyadh and is now seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager & Senior MEP Construction Manager to lead the on-site delivery of this landmark project.

This is a senior, hands-on construction leadership role responsible for driving the full construction execution of a major mixed-use scheme. The position will play a critical role in leading large delivery teams, managing complex construction logistics, and ensuring the successful delivery of one of the region’s most significant new developments.

The role requires a proven Construction Manager with extensive Tier 1 main contracting experience, ideally gained on major commercial offices, mixed-use, healthcare or aviation developments in the GCC.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction operations across a large-scale mixed-use development.
• Provide hands-on leadership to a large team of construction managers, package managers, engineers, and supervisors.
• Drive delivery against programme milestones while maintaining the highest standards of health & safety, quality, and productivity.
• Coordinate closely with planning, engineering, and commercial teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Manage and oversee major subcontractor packages and ensure performance across all construction activities.
• Resolve complex construction challenges and maintain programme momentum on a fast-paced mega project.
• Maintain strong relationships with client representatives, consultants, and senior project stakeholders.
• Provide regular progress updates and strategic input to senior project leadership.

Candidate Profile

• Extensive experience working for Tier 1 main contractors on large-scale construction projects.
• Proven experience delivering major mixed-use/high value projects
• Demonstrated track record in leading large construction teams on projects valued $1bn+.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, logistics planning, and programme delivery on major projects.
• Experience operating in high-profile, fast-track construction environments.
• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
• Middle East project experience is advantageous but not essential.
