Senior Construction Supervisor

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Supervisor to join our team and support the delivery of high-quality construction projects across the UAE. This role is essential in ensuring that all site activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements. The Senior Construction Supervisor will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and project stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes while providing leadership, technical guidance, and mentorship to junior site staff.

This position is ideal for candidates who have strong construction supervision experience, excellent site management skills, and a passion for maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee day-to-day construction activities to ensure alignment with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Coordinate with the Project Management Consultant (PMC) to monitor project progress, quality performance, safety compliance, and cost control.
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and supervision to the site inspection and supervision team, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Review and evaluate contractor submissions, including site organization plans, manpower allocation, construction methodologies, and equipment deployment.
• Conduct regular site walks and inspections to verify proper execution, material handling, equipment storage, and compliance with approved procedures.
• Participate in technical meetings, progress reviews, and management briefings; prepare site reports, meeting minutes, and recommendations.
• Support assessment and documentation of contractor change requests, variations, and claims, ensuring proper contractual and technical review.
• Oversee commissioning, pre-commissioning, testing, and project close-out activities such as punch lists, as-built drawing verification, O&M manuals, and training sessions.
• Ensure effective implementation of quality control processes, inspection and test plans, and prompt reporting of non-conformities.
• Identify risks, delays, and potential issues that may affect project schedule or cost, and escalate findings to management with recommended actions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 20 years of experience in construction, including at least 15 years in construction supervision on major building or infrastructure projects.
• Strong expertise in construction methodologies, project controls, quality assurance, and HSE standards.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary site teams and manage contractors effectively.
• Sound knowledge of contract administration, site reporting, and documentation procedures.
• Experience in commissioning, pre-commissioning, and project handover activities is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with ADNOC procedures and UAE construction industry standards is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
