Senior Consultant

Overview

The Senior Consultant at SHL is part of the Professional Services team, delivering client solutions through consulting and product-led interventions. The role works with key clients at senior levels across SHL's talent measurement solutions and supports profitable revenue growth in Asia by scoping and selling world-class consulting solutions that address business and talent challenges. The position reports to the Managing Consultant and is based in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Project delivery - provide first-class delivery, develop client relationships, manage clients and projects, and advise on SHL products and services to meet client needs and drive sustainable growth.
• Designs and delivers solutions including:
  • Talent Management Strategy & Process Design (e.g., frameworks, systems, competency frameworks, assessment or development intervention design, role profiling)
  • Assessment (e.g., assessment centres, restructures/redundancies, executive assessment, 360 feedback)
  • Post Hire Solutions (e.g., talent/high potential audits, online development tools, leadership assessment and coaching)
  • Learning & Development (e.g., development centres, team alignment, coaching and action learning)
  • Training Delivery for public courses or in-house bespoke training (Level 1 and 2 qualifications, assessor training, competency design and job analysis, competency-based interviewing, 360 feedback, coaching)
  • Product Consulting (e.g., bespoke assessment reports, situational judgement tests, realistic job previews, validation and business outcome studies)
• Project lead for critical consulting projects - lead the project delivery team on assigned accounts and significant projects, manage multidisciplinary teams, provide a consistent senior client contact, translate proposals into delivery, guide SHL delivery teams on complex aspects, and meet stakeholder expectations, including senior-level work as required.
• Drive continuous improvement - contribute to SHL growth by scoping profitable consulting work, leveraging existing solutions, optimizing resource use, and shaping new solutions by identifying market themes and trends; engage in industry events and networks to improve efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• Psychology registration preferred, with preference for Organisational Psychology endorsement
• A persuasive and credible networker with ability to develop opportunities
• Client-facing experience
• Strong background in assessment and development in the workplace and/or SHL Talent Assessment's product suite
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel); knowledge of SPSS desirable but not essential
• High achiever with enthusiasm, adaptability and resilience
• Strong team player
• Willingness to travel within Asia, with travel expected up to several times a year
