Senior Consultant Internal Medicine - Government Facility

SearchPlus HR is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Consultant Internal Medicine to join a reputable government healthcare facility. As a Senior Consultant in Internal Medicine, you will manage a broad spectrum of medical conditions, lead diagnostic and therapeutic strategies, and collaborate closely with healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes. Your clinical expertise and leadership will contribute to the development of effective treatment protocols that align with public health goals and governmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients with complex internal medicine conditions in a government healthcare setting.
  • Lead the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols in compliance with public health standards.
  • Supervise and mentor junior medical staff and foster professional development.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care and effective resource utilization.
  • Participate in public health initiatives and contribute to community health education programs.
  • Engage in clinical research and quality improvement projects to advance medical practices within the facility.
  • Ensure adherence to government healthcare policies, regulations, and ethical standards.



Requirements
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in Internal Medicine.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of clinical experience in Internal Medicine, ideally within a government or public healthcare environment.
  • Proven expertise in managing complex internal medicine cases with a patient-centered approach.
  • Strong leadership abilities and experience mentoring healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent analytical, clinical decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with government healthcare systems, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with electronic health records and healthcare technologies.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and public health advancement.
