Senior Consultant, Restructuring Dubai Corporate Finance & Restructuring

Role Overview

Senior Consultant - Corporate Finance & Restructuring (Dubai or Riyadh). Join our leading Restructuring team focusing on financial and transactional tests for corporations, private equity sponsors, creditors, and other stakeholders.

What You'll Do

• Assist in business and liquidity reviews by investigating historical and future financial performance
• Prepare and test business plans and financial models
• Undertake variance/bridge analysis and identify reasons for underperformance
• Develop a broad understanding of the full suite of offerings, including contingency planning
• Form initial views and opinions on analyses before sharing them with the case manager
• Communicate findings through report writing and oral presentations
• Build detailed three statement financial models and demonstrate confidence in Excel modelling
• Conduct financial analysis and due diligence
• Provide on the job training to consultants in the team

Qualifications

• A strong work ethic, detail orientation, and passion for excellence
• Ability to work in a fast paced, team based environment with minimal supervision
• Strong financial modelling skills
• Strong communication skills and keenness to network/attend events
• Impeccable research, quantitative and analytical skills, particularly in explaining market events
• Working knowledge of deal structuring and closing principles
• Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to organise and track overlapping tasks and assignments with frequent priority changes
• Ability to travel and work on cross border situations
• Relevant restructuring experience in a consulting firm
• Educated to degree level in a numerate subject (or equivalent)
• ACA, ACCA, CFA or equivalent
