About the Role

Google’s Platforms & Devices Strategy & Operations team is seeking a Product Operations Specialist to support the Go-To-Market Insights function for the Pixel hardware portfolio. This role centers on consumer insights, strategic analysis, and cross-functional execution to shape Pixel’s brand and marketing strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead key workstreams across 2–3 strategic projects; deliver clear analyses and recommendations.
  • Drive qual & quant consumer research (focus groups, IDIs, surveys, concept testing) to inform Pixel’s GTM and creative strategy.
  • Synthesize insights into crisp, actionable storytelling for senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Analyze competitive, industry, and audience trends to guide product and marketing decisions.
  • Partner with Global Brand, Creative, Channel, Android Insights, Measurement & Analytics, and regional teams (EMEA/APAC).
  • Run insights workshops to embed consumer understanding into marketing briefs and campaign plans.
  • Manage external research vendors and ensure high-quality execution.
  • Support operational planning, OKRs, opex modeling, and strategic communication.
  • Explore and apply AI-based research methods to accelerate insight generation.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years in consumer insights / primary marketing research.
  • Strong experience designing, executing, and analyzing qual & quant studies.
  • Ability to turn complex data into crisp, story-driven insights for senior audiences.
  • 5+ years supporting Marketing teams.
  • Experience leading insights workshops and managing research vendors.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional partners and navigate complex stakeholder groups.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in creative testing and marketing GTM planning.
  • Survey programming experience (Qualtrics, Decipher, Suzy, Prodege).
  • Background in brand strategy or brand marketing.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $100.00 - $110.00 per hour
