This is a full-time, in-person role at our West Des Moines office. Remote work is not available.

As the Senior Content Strategist at TwoTone, you’ll own the strategy behind our content and messaging across all channels. You’ll collaborate with creative teams and clients to develop content plans that drive results, ensure brand voice consistency, and keep projects aligned with business goals. This role calls for strong strategic thinking, audience insight, and the ability to turn ideas into clear, compelling stories that connect and convert.

Required

  • Exceptional writing skills: clear, concise, punchy, action-oriented
  • Strong grammar skills and an eagle eye for detail
  • Experience and/or passion working with conservative Christian churches and nonprofits
  • Ability to authentically represent a church’s voice and message
  • Strong judgment, integrity, and professionalism
  • Highly adaptable and self-motivated; able to manage multiple projects independently
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Tech-savvy and quick to learn new apps and platforms
  • Confident in leading projects and guiding other writers when needed
  • Organized, proactive, and dependable

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations
  • Agency experience

Top 5 Responsibilities:

  • Write punchy, marketing-focused copy
  • Integrate marketing practices into content
  • Attend and/or lead content meetings with clients
  • Assist in managing complex copywriting and marketing projects
  • Edit/proof work

Other Responsibilities:

  • Developing a solid understanding of the target audience through online and traditional market research
  • Developing clear and engaging content that is consistent with the company's brand image and addresses both business goals and consumer needs
  • Partnering with marketing and social media teams to identify trends and anticipate needs
  • Performing content audits to assess how well existing content is performing
  • Performing content gap analyses to determine what type of content is missing and what is needed
  • Establishing style guides that specify the writing style and tone needed to create engaging content
  • Creating, adjusting, and managing editorial calendars

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
