Senior Content Writer Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Content Writer to lead the creation of high-quality, impactful content across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing content strategies, maintaining brand voice consistency, mentoring junior writers, and delivering content that supports marketing and business objectives.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create high quality, original, and AI free content for company brochures, company profiles, websites, landing pages, blogs, articles, social media, and email campaigns.
- Lead the development of marketing and branding materials including brochures, product descriptions, case studies, whitepapers, and presentations.
- Ensure all content aligns with the company’s brand voice, tone, and messaging guidelines.
- Conduct in-depth research on industry-related topics to produce authoritative and value-driven content.
- Stay updated with industry trends, audience behavior, and competitor activities to ensure content relevance and effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, design, SEO, and social media teams to align content with campaign goals and business objectives.
- Review, edit, and proofread content created by junior writers to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Mentor and guide junior content writers, providing constructive feedback and quality standards.
- Assist in content planning, content calendars, and content strategy development.
- Optimize content based on SEO best practices to improve visibility and engagement.
- Maintain consistency in formatting, structure, style, and tone across all content assets.
- Ensure timely delivery of content while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of SEO, content marketing, and digital marketing principles.
- Proven experience in writing business-oriented content such as brochures, company profiles, and website content.
- Ability to research complex topics and convert them into engaging, reader-friendly content.
- Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress preferred).
- Strong organizational, time management, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Literature, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 4+ years of professional experience in content writing or content marketing.
- A strong portfolio showcasing strategic, long-form, and marketing-focused content.
COMPENSATION
- Monthly Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹45,000 (based on experience and skill set)
- Compensation is inclusive and referred to as Cost to Company (CTC).
Work Schedule
- Shift: Day shift (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
- Working Days: Monday to Friday
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
