About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and creative Senior Content Writer & Strategist with a strong background in healthcare communications. The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of experience in developing impactful content strategies and creating high-quality, compliant, and engaging content tailored for diverse healthcare audiences, including HCPs (Healthcare Professionals), patients, policymakers, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead content strategy for healthcare brands, campaigns, and thought leadership initiatives.
- Create, edit, and review high-quality content including articles, whitepapers, blogs, case studies, patient education materials, reports, web copy, and social media posts.
- Ensure content aligns with medical accuracy, regulatory guidelines, and brand voice.
- Translate complex medical/technical information into clear, accessible content for varied audiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, design, medical affairs, and digital teams to deliver integrated campaigns.
- Conduct content audits and gap analyses to identify opportunities for engagement and visibility.
- Stay updated on healthcare trends, regulatory changes, and digital storytelling practices.
- Mentor and guide junior writers/content creators within the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Journalism, Communications, or related fields.
- 10+ years of proven experience in healthcare content writing, strategy, or medical communications.
- Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in healthcare writing and strategic content planning.
- Deep understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance, and ethical considerations.
- Exceptional research, writing, and editing skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience with global healthcare brands, hospitals, or pharmaceutical clients.
- Knowledge of SEO, digital marketing, and analytics tools to measure content performance.
- Exposure to patient-centric communication and omnichannel marketing campaigns.
