DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Develop and manage complex contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while mitigating risks.

· Negotiate contract terms with clients and suppliers, employing strategic thinking to achieve favorable outcomes.

· Analyze and interpret contract documents, providing insights and recommendations to project managers and stakeholders.

· Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure all contractual obligations are met and documented accurately.

· Monitor contract performance and compliance, implementing corrective actions as necessary to uphold standards.

· Prepare and present detailed reports on contract status, including financial implications and potential risks.

· Manage dispute resolution processes, utilizing mediation and negotiation skills to achieve amicable solutions.

· Conduct regular audits of contracts and procurement processes to enhance efficiency and compliance.

· Stay informed on industry trends and legal changes that may impact contract management practices.

· Mentor and train junior contract engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.

· Create and distribute official contractual letters to ensure consistency with contractual commitments.

· Prepare and review claims from subcontractors and vendors, ensuring accuracy and adherence to contract terms.

· Review tender documents and prepare comprehensive Tender/RFQ packages in alignment with project requirements.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor's degree in any Engineering, or in a related field.

· A minimum of 10 to 12 years of relevant experience in contract management, preferably in large-scale construction or engineering projects.

· Strong understanding of contract law and risk management principles, with a proven track record in negotiating complex agreements.

· Proficiency in contract management software and tools, demonstrating technological acumen in managing documentation.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.

· Demonstrated leadership abilities, capable of guiding teams and managing multiple stakeholders effectively.

· Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills to assess contract terms and identify potential issues.

· Fluency in English; additional language skills will be considered an asset, especially in multinational environments.

· Strong interpersonal skills, fostering collaborative relationships with internal and external parties.

· A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a commitment to achieving results and improving processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED25,000.00 - AED29,000.00 per month
