That’s why we are seeking an analytical, commercially minded Senior Cost Accountant to anchor our corporate finance and project controls team in Ar Rayyan. The Role: What You’ll Do

As our Senior Cost Accountant, you will hold the keys to our operational efficiency. You will bridge the gap between our diverse operational pipelines and corporate finance—overseeing large-scale asset valuations, optimizing supply chain expenditures, and ensuring our commercial pricing models are highly resilient and profitable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Structure Architecture: Develop, optimize, and maintain comprehensive cost accounting systems across our real estate, hospitality, and trading business units.
• Variance & Margin Analysis: Conduct deep-dive weekly and monthly variance reports, analyzing differences between actual spending vs. standard budgets (materials, direct labor, subcontracts, and operational overheads).
• Inventory Control & Asset Valuation: Oversee regular physical inventory audits, reconcile raw material variances, and manage the precise financial valuation of Work-in-Progress (WIP) assets.
• Margin & Pricing Optimization: Analyze product, service, and project margins to provide commercial teams with accurate costing models that drive strategic, competitive pricing.
• Executive Decision Support: Translate complex financial data into clear cost-saving insights, budgeting metrics, and risk dashboards directly for the Finance Director and CFO.

What We’re Looking For (Requirements)

• Education & Credentials: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CMA (Certified Management Accountant) or ACCA are highly preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years of intensive cost accounting or management accounting experience—ideally within real estate development, contracting, hospitality, or large-scale commercial groups in the GCC.
• Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in modern ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) and expert-level MS Excel skills (advanced formulas, pivots, lookups).
• Process Intellect: A strong understanding of standard costing methodologies, multi-tiered supply chains, and contract variations management.
• Local Presence: Currently residing in Qatar with a valid, transferable QID, ready to operate full-time on-site from our corporate hub in Ar Rayyan.
