Senior Cost Accounting and Reporting Specialist

We are looking for a Senior Cost Accounting and Reporting Specialist to join our Accounting Department in our Antalya Headquarter.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitoring expense invoices in compliance with legal regulations and ensuring accurate accounting records,
• Reviewing and verifying accounting records related to supplier payments,
• Monitoring supplier debit/credit status and managing account reconciliation processes,
• Establishing, operating, and maintaining ERP integration processes related to expenses and payments,
• Performing analysis, control, and periodic reporting related to expenses and payments,
• Preparing and presenting requested reports for all account groups under the Payable team’s responsibility,
• Collaborating and aligning with related departments,
• Implementing corrective, preventive, and improvement activities; setting up systems and establishing control points relevant to the role,
• Actively participating in the recording and tracking processes of aircraft maintenance, spare parts, components, materials, and other technical costs,
• Controlling the compliance of invoices with supplier contracts,
• Engaging in ensuring the timely and accurate recording of stock movements (inbound, outbound, returns, scrap, etc.) in the accounting system,
• Assisting in calculating maintenance reserves and accruals and in periodically revising them,
• Actively participating in domestic and international technical warehouse counts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in the fields of Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering or other related departments,
• Preferably practical experience minimum 5 years in aviation, Cost Accounting and Reporting,
• Certified Public Accountant (SMMM), licensed in Turkey,
• Excellent command of written and spoken English,
• Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint),
• Experience in managing or actively participating in ERP integration projects, preferably with Netsis,
• Expertise in tax laws and practices, including VAT exemptions, electronic applications, and customs legislation,
• Competent in expense, cost accounting, accounts receivable/payable tracking and reporting,
• Expertise in budgeting and financial statements,
• Ability to perform both detailed and high-level analysis on large datasets,
• Innovative, proactive, and able to collaborate with cross-functional departments; strong time management and problem-solving skills,
• No military obligation for male candidates,
• Living or willing to relocate to Antalya.
